Your first appointment
When you come to us for the first time, you will have a 45-minute appointment so that we can really get to know you. As well as learning about you, we will carry out a thorough examination of your teeth and mouth. This includes a mouth cancer screening and a good look at your gums for gum disease. We will also take x-rays so that we can see what’s going on in your jawbone. We will talk over your home routine and give you tips on how to improve your oral hygiene, if you need them.
Once we have all the information we need, we can discuss treatment options with you. We don’t expect you to make decisions on the spot.
